Job summary

Home Bargains is hiring Bakery Store Team Members based in Guernsey. You will bake, stock displays, check dates, and help run a fast-paced store. Shifts are in 4‑hour blocks with bakery hours 5am–12 noon and a broader 6am–midnight window across store areas.

We offer training, a pension, and a 10% store discount, plus a generous leave policy and access to benefits platforms. Must be 18+, ready to start in October for opening on 14 November 2026.

• Flexible to work varied shifts including weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.
• Age 18+ due to Bakery health & safety.
• Eligible to work in Guernsey.

Responsibilities

• Be the smile that makes a difference by delivering enthusiastic customer service.
• Support team by stocking shelves, cleaning, and maintaining displays.
• Unload deliveries and restock stock on shelves during fill shifts.
• Handle tills and cash transactions; assist in Café, Bakery, or Garden Centre as needed.
