Job summary

The Village Bakery Group is seeking a QA Technician to join its Technical team. You will ensure products, processes and materials meet food safety, quality and customer standards, maintaining an audit-ready environment and promoting strong food safety culture across the site.

Based at our bakery facilities, you will support HACCP, GMP and instrument calibration, while collaborating closely with Production to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/Technical roles in food manufacturing.
• Understanding HACCP and GMP in practice.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks and process verification.
• Support HACCP monitoring and CCP verification.
• Conduct GMP, hygiene and factory audits.
• Sampling product, environment and microbiology.
• Assist investigations of non-conformances and incidents.
• Support customer complaint investigations and trend analysis.
• Maintain technical records within the QMS.
• Support calibration of technical equipment.
• Collaborate with Production and Operations to maintain standards.
