Job summary

The Cornwall Bakery, part of Samworth Brothers Ltd, is recruiting for a production operative to help prepare fresh produce for assembly lines and to support efficient production in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will operate slicing, dicing and mixing equipment, manage stock labeling and rotation, and perform manual handling within safety guidelines while contributing to a collaborative team culture and on-site operations in the South West of England.

Qualifications

• Labour-intensive work experience is a plus
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good time-keeping and reliability

Responsibilities

• Prepare produce for assembly lines using slicing, dicing and mixing machines
• Label and rotate stock using labelling machines
• Manual handling: lift up to 25 kg and push/pull up to 250 kg on wheels
