Job summary

Lesaffre UK & Ireland is seeking a bakery process specialist to assist in NPD and EPD projects, run baking trials and report results, and support bakery equipment needs.

You will create and update test protocols, provide technical support to customers, and train internal colleagues and external partners on bakery processes, yeasts, sourdough, ingredients and mixes, while staying up to date with market trends, and participating in trade fairs and customer events.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in NPD and EPD projects
• Carrying out the baking trials and reporting
• Taking care of bakery equipment and determination of the needs
• Creating and updating test protocols
• Providing technical support to customer requirements in line with Lesaffre UK & Ireland strategy through bakery process advice
• Participating in trade fairs and customer events
• Training and leading technical training for internal colleagues and external partners/customers on bakery processes, yeasts, sourdough, ingredients and mixes
• Staying up to date on market trends, customers, competition and products
