Job summary

Alexander Steele Recruitment is representing one of the UK's largest bakery groups in the South West England, seeking a bakery enthusiast to join a brand-new, highly automated manufacturing site.

You'll be deeply involved in Product Development and NPD, from concept through to launch, bringing genuine bakery expertise and a passion for sourdough and fermentation to a cutting-edge operation. Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of bakery processes, fermentation and bread products.
• Experience in bakery product development or NPD preferred.
• Willingness to grow across the full NPD process and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work within a brand-new, highly automated bakery facility.
• Lead or contribute to NPD projects from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, QA, procurement) to deliver bakery products.

I'm looking for a genuinely passionate bakery enthusiast to join one of the UK's largest bakery groups at what will be one of the most exciting bakery manufacturing sites in the country.

This isn't just another NPD job.

You'll have the opportunity to work within a brand-new, state-of-the-art, highly automated bakery — representing the single largest investment the group has ever made.

Your bakery knowledge is more important than your job title.

You might already be working in:

• NPD / Product Development
• Artisan or Industrial Baking
• Instore Supermarket Baking
• Sourdough Production
• Bread Development
• Bakery Production
• Process Development
• Technical or Quality within a bakery environment

If you understand dough, fermentation, sourdough, ingredients, baking processes and how great bakery products are created, I want to hear from you.

Don't have an NPD background? That's not necessarily a problem.

If you bring the bakery expertise and genuine passion, my client is willing to invest in developing your skills across the full NPD process. Of course, previous experience or qualifications in Food Manufacturing NPD would be a major advantage — but it isn't the number one requirement.
