Job summary

Chacewater Bakery is seeking an enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will handle customer service, help prepare and package products, and maintain clean, compliant operations across the shop floor.

Ideal candidates are energetic, hardworking and capable of multitasking while upholding high standards of presentation and hygiene. Training is available to support day-to-day bakery tasks and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Prepare and package bakery products for display and sale.
• Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays.
• Operate tills and process customer transactions accurately.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene throughout the bakery.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Support the bakery team with various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all food safety and health and safety procedures.
