Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Baker to join our Bakery team. You will prepare a range of bakery items to a high standard, including items for the food hall, while ensuring strict food hygiene and health & safety practices.

You will collaborate with the restaurant team to present products attractively and deliver an excellent customer experience. We value team players who communicate well and are eager to learn.

Job description

Our Bakers play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty treats, ensuring food hygiene and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing a range of our bakery items to a high quality - including bakery to go for the food hall
• Ensuring operation is compliant with statutory requirements such as health & safety and food hygiene
• Working alongside the restaurant team to ensure your customers are presented with their items to a high standard
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and health & safety

• You are passionate about all things food and delivering the best possible experience for our customers
• A team player and confident communicator who is eager to learn new skills and gain new experiences
• Flourish in a busy, fast-paces environment
• Experience working as a Baker with successful delivery of production at volume
• Excellent organisation skills with enthusiasm to get things done well
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal
