Job summary

A new bakery in London is seeking a Baker to prepare a wide variety of Japanese and European bakery goods. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in scratch baking, including bread baking. This is a full-time role requiring flexible work patterns, with immediate start available.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in scratch baking.
• 3+ years of experience in baking bread at a bakery.
• Experience or strong interest in East Asian baking methods is desirable.
• Able to commit to flexible work patterns, including early morning shifts.
• Team player.

Overview

Position: Baker – Bakery. Location: London. Working hours: 4:00–13:00 (40 hours / 5 days a week). Salary: up to £33,000 per year, depending on experience. Start: ASAP. Employment: Full-time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of Japanese and European bakery goods, including shokupan, melon pan, curry bread, croissants, sourdoughs, and baguettes.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the bread section.
• Support production development.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in scratch baking.
• 3+ years of experience in baking bread at a bakery.
• Experience or strong interest in East Asian baking methods, especially Japanese-style bread (shokupan, melon pan, curry bread) is desirable.
