Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in Billingham is recruiting for experienced Bagging Operators/FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy warehouse. The role involves operating a Counterbalance forklift, bagging on the line, moving stock, and loading/unloading wagons.

Temp to perm, with training provided and a potential fixed-term contract via the client. Typical shifts are 4 on 4 off after training, with days and nights and hourly pay between £13.75 and £14.51.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence required.
• Full UK driver’s licence required.
• FLT operating experience of at least 12 months.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Must pass Drug & Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Bagging line operations: filling, bagging, tying.
• Move stock around warehouse and storage areas.
• Load/unload wagons using FLT (CB).
• Secure products in yard and protect from elements.
• Follow health and safety procedures and housekeeping.
• Temp to perm, potential fixed-term contract.

Monday to Friday, 8am till 4pm- £13.75 per hour

4 on 4 off shifts after training:

2 days (06:30-18:30), 2 nights (18:30-06:30)- £14.51 per hour

We are currently recruiting for experienced

Bagging Operators/FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy operation based in Billingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking candidate looking for ongoing work with immediate starts available. Please note this is not a strictly FLT role.

Please note: A Drug & Alcohol test is required for this role.

The Role

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Working on the bagging line (filling bags with products), bagging and tying of the products
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and storage areas, can involve heavy lifting
• Loading and unloading wagons using an FLT Truck (CB)
• Securing customers products in the yard (protecting from the elements)
• Following all site health and safety procedures and general housekeeping
• Temp to perm, going onto a fixed term contract via the client

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Full UK driver's licence (essential)
• Previous FLT operating experience (essential, minimum 12 months)
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to work rotating shift patterns
• Available to start as soon as possible
• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
