Job summary

Bloomberg in London is seeking an Engineering Team Lead for Backup and Recovery to own the direction of the platform. You will set the vision, define the roadmap, and ensure secure, scalable backup and recovery across Bloomberg Engineering.

You will lead infrastructure and software engineers, collaborating with the Engineering COO and partners to enforce policies and regulatory requirements while safeguarding production data.

Qualifications

• Proven technical leadership experience, growing talent, and guiding technical direction.
• Coding skills in C++, Python, or similar languages for performance testing.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach to complex system challenges.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, COO, vendor and sourcing teams.
