Job summary

M&S is seeking a Customer Assistant in Operations to support store backroom functions, stock management, and delivery receiving. The role involves physically demanding tasks and working across the store to keep products available and shop floors well-stocked.

Hours follow a two-week pattern with evening and early shifts; an unsocial premium (£3.00 p/h) applies to hours between 22:00 and 06:00. This is a part-time, on-site position designed for candidates able to work flexibly across shifts.

Qualifications

• Stock control experience and ability to manage deliveries.
• Proficiency with digital tools to track deliveries and stock.
• Flexibility to work across wider store operations.
• Teamwork and collaboration with store colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock and deliveries to keep shop floor stocked and ready for customers.

• Be fast, accurate and proactive in moving stock and responding to workload.
