Job summary

Stagecoach Aberhill Depot is seeking a friendly cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of our fleet of 75 modern buses. You will work on back shifts, following a daily and 14‑day cleaning schedule while ensuring high standards to make a strong first impression for customers.

The role requires initiative, reliability and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning coach/bus interiors or similar environments.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow cleaning schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean the Company’s fleet of 75 vehicles to a high standard.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule and a 14 day window cleaning schedule.
• Perform Covid-19 touch point cleaning routine and maintain cab areas.
• Report and log lost property.
• Ensure toilets and driver areas are kept clean.

Salary

£13.45 p/h

We are looking for a friendly & reliable cleaner who is able to work on their own initiative and will enjoy being part of a friendly and dedicated team. Working on the back shift in a busy depot, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of our buses and one of the first impressions to our customers.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning the Company’s fleet of 75 modern vehicles to a high standard
• Carrying out a daily cleaning schedule
• Carrying out a 14 day window cleaning schedule
• Carrying out our Covid-19 touch point cleaning regime.
• Cleaning of coach toilets and driver cab areas
• Reporting and logging of lost property

Training and Qualifications:

You should ideally be able to show experience in one of the following:

• Coach and bus interior cleaning
• Van or car interior cleaning
• Any other cleaning position

Hours of work:

• 5 week shift rota offering 2.5 weekends as rest days
• 5 days over 7 including weekends
• 40 hours per week
