Job description

The Warehouse Operative assists in the sortation, storage, loading, and unloading of products within the warehouse. This role works on behalf of our customers to ensure they receive the correct freight at the right time, upholding our promise of delivering exactly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Represent DX professionally at all times.
2. Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies.
3. Handle all freight with care and attention.
4. Use the correct means to access and egress vehicles.
5. Utilize the appropriate equipment and methods for handling and moving freight.
6. Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely before leaving the depot.
7. Report any damages immediately to your line manager.
8. Verify that all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork/scanner information.
9. Transport, store, and treat customer freight with respect and safety.
10. Maintain the security of freight and company assets by reporting suspicious activity.
11. Keep the warehouse tidy and report H&S issues immediately.

Additional Information

If you currently hold an FLT licence or have experience with high-volume warehousing operations, it would be advantageous.
