Job summary

The DX Group is looking for Warehouse Operatives to safely unload and load freight, supporting delivery routes from our UK sites. You will represent the company professionally and follow all DX safety and handling policies.

Applicants should be prepared to handle freight with care, ensure paperwork matches scanned data, and report damages promptly. A tidy, compliant warehouse is essential for smooth operations and security.

Qualifications

• Must be able to unload/load freight safely and efficiently.
• Commitment to DX safety policies and PPE usage.
• Ability to follow procedures and paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
• Follow DX Manual Handling and safety policies.
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies.
• Handle all freight with care and attention.
• Access and egress vehicles using correct means.
• Use appropriate equipment and methods for handling freight.
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely before leaving site.
• Report damages to line manager promptly.
• Ensure freight matches paperwork/scanner information.
• Ensure freight is transported and stored safely and securely.
• Report any suspicious activity to line manager or security.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and raise any H&S issues.

Job description

They will also support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes.,

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
• Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of all PPE
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies at all times
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site
• Report all damages immediately to your line manager
• Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information
• Ensure that customers freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respect
• Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting any suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team
• Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues are reported immediately
