Job Description

The successful candidate will work on the continuous development of proprietary RegTech software solutions in an Agile environment. The role involves working with a LAMP stack, using Symfony 7+ for backend microservices development.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with a dynamic development team on PHP application development
2. Contribute to the evolution of software architecture
3. Develop new software modules based on business process specifications
4. Resolve bugs in the internal codebase
5. Work with superusers to define new features
6. Maintain awareness of security risks and solutions
7. Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following OOP SOLID principles

Requirements

1. Minimum 4 years’ experience with modern PHP frameworks (Symfony or Laravel preferred)
2. At least 4 years’ experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
3. Understanding of microservice architecture
4. Knowledge of OOP SOLID principles
5. Experience designing robust REST APIs
6. Experience writing automated unit tests
7. Proficiency with relational databases
8. Knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus
9. Experience with queueing systems like RabbitMQ is a plus
10. Experience with caching systems is a plus
11. Familiarity with IDEs and CI tools (Bitbucket, Jira, etc.)
12. Willingness to learn about financial compliance processes

Qualifications and Experience

1. 4+ years of commercial PHP development experience
2. Excellent English communication skills
3. Enthusiasm for learning and growth
