Job summary

IC Resources seeks an experienced Backend Software Engineer for a 100% onsite role in Gloucestershire. You will design REST APIs, build data pipelines, and manage cloud infrastructure, while optimising databases and implementing telemetry and monitoring.

Candidate should have 3+ years of production backend experience, strong AWS, Python, and Rails skills, plus familiarity with Kubernetes, IaC tools, and geospatial data handling. Onsite only.

Qualifications

• Backend development experience building production systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and IaC tools (Pulumi, Terraform).
• Security engineering exposure and data governance awareness.
• Geospatial data handling and ML/data science exposure.
• Experience with time-series databases and data workflows.
