Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Java AWS) London / WFH to £90k

Opportunity to join an early stage tech start-up in an impactful, hands-on role that you can shape.

As a Backend Software Engineer you'll collaborate with the CTO to build the core B2B software product, designed for Inventory Management, Sales and Distribution of sports collectables in massive US markets. You'll design and develop complex backend systems and AWS cloud based infrastructure; taking ownership and quickly see the results of your work.

The company is backed by a team of successful US tech entrepreneurs they've already seen great success and there are plenty of Greenfield projects in the pipeline to introduce new products and features.

Location / WFH:

There's a flexible work from home policy, ideally you'll be able to get into the London office 1-2 days a week / month.

About you:

• You're a technologist backend focussed Software Engineer, keen to take ownership in a start-up environment
• You have strong Java and AWS experience
• Other tech in the stack includes Node, TypeScript and Kafka so experience with any of those is great but not essential
• You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
• You're degree educated in a STEM discipline
