Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C++) Cambridge / WFH to £65k
Are you a C++ technologist looking for an opportunity to progress your career while working on complex and interesting systems with continual learning opportunities?
You could be joining a market-leading software house whose remote access product is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will join the team responsible for creating the client desktop software that forms a key part of the core remote access technology. You'll have exposure across the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis through to design, development, and testing, with a focus on backend C++ services that require scalability, handle large amounts of data, and must be security compliant.
Initially, you'll join a large project to engineer the mobile application of this desktop product using Flutter and Dart (which you can learn on the job). Upcoming projects include cryptography work; there's a strong pipeline of projects to keep it interesting!
There's a friendly and supportive team environment. You'll be able to work from home most of the time, with meetups in the Cambridge office once a month.
