Back-End Software Engineer
London (Hybrid)
70,000 - 80,000 + Equity + Progression

An excellent opportunity awaits a driven software engineer looking for a backend-focused role with strong TypeScript and Node skills to join an exciting startup developing an AI-driven solution for the renewable energy sector. This role offers brilliant progression, personal development opportunities, and equity included in the package.

In this role, you'll join an established core team based in London, working to further drive the capability and scalability of the AI-driven backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. You'll also work with Azure for containerization, deployments, databases, and microservices. This is a hybrid role, based in the London office three days a week.

The Role:

1. Backend software development using Node.js and TypeScript
2. Database (SQL/NoSQL) and API development
3. System architecture and Azure cloud deployment
4. Strong progression opportunities within an AI-driven startup
5. Hybrid-based role, three days a week in London

The Person:

1. Strong experience in backend services development (Node.js and TypeScript)
2. Interest or experience in LLMs, AI, or Machine Learning
3. Strong experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
4. Looking for a fast-paced startup environment
5. Based in or within a commutable distance to Central London
