Job summary

Octopus Electroverse is hiring a Software Engineer to join the Core squad and help build the foundations of our global EV platform. You’ll work with the backend team to power B2C, B2B and API features, focusing on scalable, resilient infrastructure and robust pricing logic.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver market-leading solutions, implement observability, and scale CPO integrations worldwide while maintaining secure, high-quality code.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial experience with Python.
• Proven ability to write robust and fault-tolerant secure software.
• Good understanding of databases and data architecture.
• Proficient understanding of Git.

Responsibilities

• Help us build and refine critical paths, enhancing key flows for sessions, locations and receipts.
• Influence the Tariffs & Pricing logic and improve discounts for customers.
• Enable rapid but robust development with observability, data analysis and defensive programming to scale CPO integrations globally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to break down problems and propose creative technical solutions.
