Client Server Limited is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our R&D team in Cambridge. You will mainly work with Python on a Greenfield project aimed at countering AI-based security threats, using Rust and other tools where appropriate.

You’ll contribute from rapid prototyping to structured development, emphasising best practices, problem solving and continuous improvement. The role offers a hybrid Cambridge office schedule with flexible working and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend experience and backend software engineering skills.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Enjoy learning and picking up new technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Some experience with Rust, TypeScript and/or C++.
• Degree in a STEM discipline.
