Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking a strong backend generalist to own and ship complex, data-heavy systems end to end within our Studio workflow. You’ll tackle enterprise-grade concerns like usage reporting and accounts, and demonstrate proven product ownership through side projects, open source, or product-facing work.

The role is fundamentally greenfield, requiring initiative and hands-off delivery from inception to launch. Bonus points for experience with media or video-processing pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong backend generalist who has designed and shipped complex, data-heavy systems end to end.
• Comfortable with enterprise-grade concerns such as usage reporting and accounts.
• Evidence of product ownership: side projects, open source, or work in a product-facing context.
• Has taken projects from inception to launch with little hand-holding.
• Bonus: experience with media or video-processing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own our produce once, distribute everywhere workflow for Studio.
• Shape specs through RFCs and pressure-test data structures with the team lead.
• Carry the project from first draft to launch as a backend generalist with product instincts.
