Job summary

Arm is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong backend and platform focus to join the Portfolio Team on a contract basis. The role emphasizes designing, implementing and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, with API design and data modeling as core tasks.

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and code reviews is important. While this is a full stack role, the primary emphasis is on backend development, system architecture and code

Qualifications

• Strong experience building backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design RESTful APIs and data models.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to review AI-generated code for correctness and quality.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Solid understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Experience with code reviews and collaborative development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript and Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and service integrations.
• Develop well-tested, maintainable and performant code following best practices.
• Model data and work with relational/NoSQL databases.
• Improve reliability, observability and performance via monitoring and logging.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness and security.
