Backend Engineer, with some frontend experience at growing Web3 Company

• Remote
• Full-time
• $50 - $75/hour

We are looking for someone who is passionate and professional. Knowledge about both the metaverse, blockchain, and real estate is a huge plus.

The Role:

1. Work as part of a growing team to build and maintain our tech stack.
2. Take ownership of the backend.
3. Take a creative and collaborative approach to solving problems.
4. Be a proactive member of the team.
5. Take part in wider architectural discussions in helping determine how our products are built.
6. Work UK hours.

The successful person will have the following:

1. Computer Science Degree, or equivalent.
2. A very strong backend software engineering background with Python and Django development skills.
3. A very good knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
4. Logical, analytical mindset and someone that enjoys problem solving.
5. Unit testing.
6. Experience of working within a collaborative environment under an Agile process.
7. Keen to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with Marketplace infrastructure.
2. Familiarity with DevOps & AWS infrastructure.
3. Working knowledge of Solidity.
4. Experience with front end frameworks React/Next.JS.
