Job summary

PTC, Parametric Technology (UK) Limited, is seeking a backend-focused software engineer to work on Jetstream, our Atlas SaaS collaboration platform. You will build and maintain backend services in TypeScript/Node.js/NestJS, deploy via Kubernetes, and contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

You’ll work across backend and platform areas, improve observability, tooling, and automation with Terraform and Azure, and partner with DevOps to run services in production.

Qualifications

• Proficient backend development with TypeScript/Node.js/NestJS.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting services.
• Strong testing, debugging, logging and monitoring skills.
• Comfortable across backend and platform/infrastructure work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services from development through production.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Enhance observability and tooling across services.
