Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor UK is seeking a senior software engineer to help sunset a legacy system and migrate to a modern platform. You’ll focus on BA work with some FE work, delivering features that power client portals and real‑time ad performance data.

You’ll collaborate with Product, UX and Data teams to design scalable solutions, write tests, and automate deployments. The role is based in London with 1–2 days in the office and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience, backend or full‑stack.
• Experience with APIs, data flows, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reliable, scalable features with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability in components.
• Write tests and automate deployments.
• Collaborate with Product, UX and Data/BI to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Understand business and user needs to improve the product.
• Capture data and metrics on product success and delivery improvements.
