Job summary

The Acorn Group in Liverpool is seeking a Backend Developer to help build reliable, high-performing systems. You will work with C# and .NET 8, Azure, and Docker, write clean code, and collaborate with product and design teams to turn ideas into features.

You’ll grow through exposure to architecture, DevOps and product development while contributing to code reviews and automated testing in a collaborative, fast-paced squad.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building backend apps with C# and .NET.
• Solid knowledge of APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with Azure and Docker in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated testing.
• Collaborative mindset with a growth-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using C# and .NET
• Write clean, testable and maintainable code
• Help design and implement APIs and data solutions
• Deploy and manage applications with Docker and Azure Cloud
• Work with product owners and designers to turn ideas into features
• Learn from experienced developers and contribute to code reviews
