Job summary

Letly is building backend systems for a home-first, AI-native operating company. You\'ll contribute to money movement, reconciliations, and event-driven coordination across services that power viewing, tenancy, certificates, rent payments and repairs.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years building production backend systems for junior, 3+ for mid.
• Fluency in at least one backend language and framework.
• Strong fundamentals: concurrency, HTTP and API design, data modelling.
• You read a large codebase you didn\'t write and treat tests as part of shipping.
• AI-Native engineer: use AI across layers and understand LLM failure modes.
• Junior: shipped code real users depended on via internship or side project.
• Mid: owned a service or feature in production end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Money movement: rent, deposits and payouts through pooled client-money accounts with idempotent processing.
• Reconciliation & bookings: penny-accurate ledger, viewings, maintenance and scheduling across vendors.
• Event-driven consistency: services coordinate via Pub/Sub with sagas and deterministic API calls.
• AI in production: deploying agentic AI with guardrails and deterministic software.
