Job Description:

You will be designing and building services with three core principles in mind: maintainability, performance, and security.

If you are excited about high-availability requirements, scalability problems, automated workflows, infrastructure orchestration, queueing systems, APIs and protocols like GraphQL and gRPC, our client is keen to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

• Build the most powerful, easy-to-use payment platform in the world.
• Deliver new features and enhancements to the platform.
• Work closely with Frontend and Mobile Engineering teams to integrate frontend UI.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Help the team stay updated with the tech stack ecosystem.
• Write high-quality, scalable, and performant code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of relational (preferably PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., Redis).
• Good understanding of web semantics.
• Knowledge of revision control systems.
• Basic knowledge of development pipelines, automation tools, and build processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams with a positive attitude.

Good to have :

• Experience developing APIs for other products.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, NSQ, Pulsar, RabbitMQ).
• Experience integrating APIs from service providers.
• Experience working with performance budgets.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrencies or digital assets.
• Community talks, certifications, blog posts, or open-source contributions related to your interests and research.
