Job summary

Client Server Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Backend Developer (TypeScript) to design and develop backend services for the customer portal, primarily using TypeScript. You’ll work in a collaborative engineering environment, moving ideas from rapid prototypes to production-ready systems.

The role offers hybrid working with the Cambridge office twice a week, plus WFH. You’ll own features, tackle security-focused development, and contribute to software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong backend TypeScript experience.
• Familiar with containerisation using Kubernetes.
• Good appreciation of building secure applications.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Python and/or Rust desirable but not essential.

Backend Developer / Engineer (TypeScript) Cambridge / WFH to £70k

Are you a Backend Developer with strong TypeScript skills?

As a Backend Developer you'll design and develop backend services for the customer portal, primarily using TypeScript. Working in a highly collaborative engineering environment, you'll take ideas from rapid prototypes through to robust, production ready systems, helping to shape both the product and the underlying technology.

The role offers plenty of scope for technical ownership, innovation and continuous learning within a fast paced R&D environment.
