  • Carry out risk assessments and manage safety procedures.
  • Report and investigate accidents and brief staff on safety protocols.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

Job description

Searcys is seeking a Back Of House Manager to join their team at The HAC, a unique Grade II listed venue in the City, just minutes from Old Street.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing inventory and stock across all venue areas, focusing on stock management, logistics, waste reduction, and cost control.
  • Leading compliance and safety initiatives, supporting the Venue General Manager and Executive Chef to uphold health and safety standards.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of all back-of-house catering areas, including stock control, invoice processing, and adherence to health and safety legislation.
  • Overseeing cleanliness and organization of kitchens, managing 'Goods In', and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Carrying out risk assessments and accident investigations, and ensuring staff are briefed on safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP.
  • Experience in compliance, food safety, and stock management.
  • Ability to work under critical time constraints.
