Slim Chickens Leicester High Cross is looking for Back of House Team Members to join a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll prepare and cook menu items, maintain high hygiene standards, and support inventory and stock control in a busy dining environment.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude, with opportunities to develop within a growing brand portfolio and BRG group. Weekend and bank holiday shifts are common in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Passion for cooking and delivering quality food.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.

• Previous kitchen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection.
• Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.
• Following food safety, hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Handling kitchen equipment safely and reporting maintenance needs.
• Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.
