Job summary

Tesco Cafs is looking for team members to join our Back of House and Caf teams in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help prepare and serve meals, keep kitchens clean, and ensure all food safety standards are met so every customer enjoys a high-quality experience.

In this role you’ll be helping to maintain our menu standards, handle deliveries, and support a positive, efficient service. Good communication and teamwork are essential, with flexibility to adapt to customer flow and busy

• The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practising FIFO stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our cafs.
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Knowing our cafs menu inside and out and serving food exactly as its intended.
• Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Caf Manager.
• Staying up to date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
