Job summary

Tesco Cafs is looking for a team member to join our Back of House team, helping to prepare food, maintain a clean kitchen, and deliver consistent quality to our customers. You’ll support everyday operations with a focus on care and efficiency, contributing to a friendly, inclusive environment.

In this role you’ll be part of a flexible, customer-focused team. We value great service, safety standards, and the ability to adapt to changing needs across our cafs nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial.
• Ability to follow health and safety rules and FIFO stock handling.
• Excellent communication and teamwork under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep daily records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to keep food fresh.
• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of food.
• Support Caf Manager with daily operations and customer service.
