Slim Chickens at Birmingham Arena is seeking Back of House Team Members to help prepare and cook our southern-inspired menu in a fast-paced kitchen. You'l l be part of a busy, team-oriented environment that prizes quality and efficiency.

You will maintain a clean, organized workspace, follow food safety guidelines, assist with stock and inventory, and ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• A passion for cooking and delivering quality food
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but willingness to learn and positive attitude essential

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring every dish meets our high standards
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring the freshness of ingredients
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time
• Handling kitchen equipment safely and reporting any maintenance needs
• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations
