Job description

We're seeking an experienced practitioner to join a nursery school within their baby room provision. The ideal candidate will be qualified in young children's learning and development, with an inspiring and enthusiastic approach to delivering outstanding care and early education. Experience working with young babies (0-2 years) and sensitivity to the needs of children and their families are essential. The role involves helping young children explore their environment, providing activities to explore nature and the senses, and developing fine and gross motor skills.

The nursery is located a short 5-minute drive from Skipton, in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. Children have access to outdoor garden areas and natural resources, along with thoughtfully designed indoor learning environments that encourage art, music, creativity, environmental love, and early learning skills.

This is a full-time position, but part-time hours (e.g., mornings or afternoons) are also considered. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, with part-time options of 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The nursery is willing to consider an immediate start for the right candidate, following satisfactory background checks.
