The Role: Deputy Safety & Security Manager
The Deputy Safety and Security Manager (DSSM) reports directly to the Safety and Security Manager. This role contributes to the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Safety Management System (SMS) and Security Management System (SeMS), including Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), Safety, Security, and Fatigue Risk Management (FRM) for the BA Euroflyer operation.
The DSSM works closely across all areas of BA Euroflyer, supporting a strong safety and security culture. This role manages and oversees the Airline Security Programme (ASP) and deputises for the Safety and Security Manager (AvSEC Directed Person), as required by the Department for Transport (DfT) regulations and in other safety and security matters.
