Job summary

BA Cityflyer, part of the British Airways family, is recruiting an Senior Analytics and Insights Analyst to join the Subsidiaries Analytics & Insight team. You will analyse complex datasets, deliver actionable insights, and build AI-enabled solutions to shape operational and commercial performance.

You’ll collaborate with BA CityFlyer, BA EuroFlyer and the wider BA/IAG analytics community, turning data into clear recommendations for business planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Numerate degree or equivalent analytical experience.
• Strong experience using Excel, SQL and other analytical tools.
• Experience analysing business data and translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, models or other analytical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Strong technical communication, in particular to less technical stakeholders.
• Desirable: Experience using Python or other programming languages.
• Desirable: Experience within aviation, travel or a similar operationally complex industry.
• Desirable: Knowledge of British Airways systems and data environments.
• Desirable: Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Desirable: Experience building AI agents or other AI solutions.
• Desirable: Exposure to cloud-based analytics, machine learning or predictive analytics techniques.

Senior Analytics and Insights Analyst

• LON: £52,884 - £58,760
• MAN: £47,522 - £52,802

You’ll be joining the Subsidiaries Analytics & Insight team, supporting both BA Cityflyer and BA Euroflyer. The team plays a critical role in driving operational and commercial performance by delivering analytics, reporting, AI solutions and actionable insight that inform business decisions. By turning complex data into clear recommendations, the team helps shape strategy, improve efficiency and enhance customer and commercial outcomes across the airline.
