The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a clinician to provide specialist cardiology support during a one-year fixed-term maternity cover. The role offers autonomy and development of advanced clinical assessment skills within a busy hospital setting.
The post focuses on assessment and treatment of ACS, new-onset AF, and chest pain with implementation of the ATLAS pathway, with NMP and physical assessment experience preferred.
Job summary This will be a one year, fixed-term contract in the CAT to cover maternity leave. This is a valuable opportunity for the candidate to develop advanced clinical assessment skills in cardiology and to learn to manage a dynamic workload with significant levels of autonomy.
Main duties of the job To provide clinical support to existing team members regarding assessment and treatment of a dynamic and evolving workload throughout the hospital. The candidate will also assist with the implementation of the ATLAS pathway.
