We have an exciting opportunity for a 6 session Band 7 Adult Psychotherapist post to join our dynamic, friendly and welcoming secondary care team in the North-West Surrey Psychotherapy Service at Unither House, Chertsey which is one of three psychotherapy services in the Trust.
We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with experience of working with severe, enduring, and complex mental health presentations and/or those with a core professional training in mental health.
The post holder will have substantial experience working as an adult psychotherapist in a specialist psychotherapy service, or its equivalent including experience in specialist assessment and treatment, individual, group and MBT psychotherapy, and long-term work with severe and enduring presentations.

To undertake psychotherapeutic consultations and provide individual psychodynamic psychotherapy.
To liaise with professionals, carers and relatives as required about referrals patients to the service.
Maintaining up to date risk assessments on patients that are directly involved in your care.
· To involve patients in their personal care plans taking their individual needs and preferences into account.
· To conduct both group analytic and mentalization based treatments following appropriate training and with ongoing supervision.
· To help advise other professionals and trainees engaged in mental health work about the role and suitability of Psychoanalytically informed interventions.
