A community health provider in Salisbury is looking for a B6 Specialist Learning Disabilities Community Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves assessing and managing care for individuals with learning disabilities, promoting health and wellbeing, and providing specialist advice. Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse with a focus on learning disabilities (RNLD) or a Registered Adult or Mental Health Nurse with experience in working with people with learning disabilities, to develop their skills by joining our county-wide Learning Disability Service.
We seek a nurse eager to work with individuals with complex health needs and/or challenging behaviour/mental health issues. The role primarily involves assessment and case management of individuals funded under NHS Continuing Health Care (CHC).
We offer regular supervision and opportunities for professional development, with close support from an Advanced Nurse Specialist within the team.

The role is based at one of our Learning Disability Wiltshire locations in Chippenham, Warminster, Marlborough, or Salisbury, with a hybrid working model expected to involve 60% of time from a base.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to the nature of the role.
