The successful candidate will be part of a small specialised team that ensures the smooth and effective running of the interventional radiography and fluoroscopy service at UHBW. Interventional radiography partially operates in conjunction with North Bristol Trust.
When not working in the IR suite, the candidate will be expected to provide other fluoroscopy services or support in the plain imaging department. They will be required to participate in the 24/7 shift service.
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing the interventional radiography service
Contribute towards the fluoroscopy and plain imaging radiography services
Operate and help to maintain highly complex specialist equipment, ensuring faults are appropriately reported.
Teach, supervise and mentor learners and inexperienced radiographers
Demonstrate a high level of patient centred care
Ensure legislation, and Trust and departmental policies and protocols are followed and required records updated.
Maintain own registration, CPD and statutory and mandatory training
