Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for dietetic management of a range of patients, including general medical and surgical inpatients, rehab inpatients, outpatient clinics, and community-based nutrition support patients living at home or in residential settings.

Key duties include:

1. Conducting outpatient phone clinics and face-to-face outpatient clinics.
2. Leading patient group education sessions, including in areas such as Cardiac Rehab and Coeliac Disease.
3. Providing training to nursing staff, catering staff, patients, carers, and third-sector organizations.
4. Developing and auditing educational resources to support professional development within ESHT.
5. Supporting training and supervision of student dietitians during placements.
6. Collaborating as part of the dietetic team and supporting team members.
7. Undertaking regular service audits.
