About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Student Recruitment team at our London campus in our Business to Markets function. The Recruitment Officer plays a vital role in the delivery of our ambitious student recruitment strategy and will be responsible for driving applications and enrolments from schools and colleges across the South of the country. Each Recruitment Officer has a designated set of schools and colleges to engage with, so experience in account management is vital, along with the confidence to deliver talks and workshops to students aged predominately 16-19 years old.

You will need to be highly organised and self-motivated, and have the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Our Recruitment Officers are expected to have strong networking skills, work to targets and KPIs, can manage data and have a clear understanding of the recruitment cycle. A passion for higher education and a high level of professionalism, you will be motivated by impact, whether that’s developing a new pathway with a college, organising a campus visit for a school or analysing application trends in your area.

Please note that this role involves extensive travel across the country, some overnight stays and occasional weekend work, so the ability to work flexibly and travel is essential. The region for this role includes schools and colleges in Central London, East Kent, Surrey, Exeter, Essex, Suffolk and Luton. We offer hybrid working and the office location is based at Here East, Stratford, London.

Main Responsibilities
  • To deliver against the university’s recruitment strategy through engagement with targeted schools and colleges to drive applications and enrolments
  • Responsible for delivering student recruitment and engagement plans for your designated accounts, working closely with the Recruitment Manager and academics
  • Plan and organise events linked to our Pathways and Progression Agreements
  • Oversee the account management of schools and colleges within your region
  • Maintain and update CRM with your activity and lead generation
