Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.

At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing UK business. This role will be responsible for developing and closing a pipeline of new clients and will play a significant part in our B2C growth plans.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building out a strong pipeline of retail prospects utilizing multiple channels to build and nurture leads.
  • Leading the sales process from "Opportunity" to "Go Live" delivering a best-in-class client experience.
  • Establishing yourself as a thought leader in ecommerce and logistics, able to influence clients around the need for the InPost solution.
  • Building out scalable business development processes utilizing sales frameworks and technology, helping to improve deal conversion.
  • Being an expert in the InPost value proposition and developing a deep understanding of our solution.
  • Helping to develop our go-to-market strategy and value proposition.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for people who are ready for a fast-paced environment, get their kicks out of problem-solving and can balance getting today's stuff done, whilst building for the future. We’re looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.

Key experience you will need:

  • Your experience comes from a parcel/logistics service provider and you have an established network of connections within the UK ecommerce industry.
  • Demonstrated success in selling services to e-commerce retail businesses, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Skilled in creating and delivering highly engaging presentations tailored to the audience.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively, address objections, and identify quick wins and strategic opportunities.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with a willingness to receive and act on feedback to improve client interactions.
  • An analytical, data-oriented approach to sales, utilizing frameworks and tools for decision-making and strategy.
  • Agile and responsive, able to juggle and prioritize tasks, manage multiple opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an integral part of a broader UK-based team, ensuring alignment and collaboration.

Perks of the job:

Enhanced Annual Leave: 26 days plus the option to buy additional days per year — more time to relax, explore, and enjoy life.

Vitality Health Care: Stay healthy and happy with top-notch health coverage.

Work from Anywhere: 4 weeks per year to work remotely abroad, exploring new horizons while staying connected.

Enhanced Parental Leave: Support during family moments.

Rail Loan: Purchase an annual season ticket, expense it through our process, and enjoy interest-free repayment.

Volunteering Days: Take a paid day to make a difference in your community.

Hybrid Working: Collaborate in the office 3 days per week (role dependent).

Bring Your Dog to Work Day: Every Friday — make it pawsitively amazing!

The InPost process:

We aim to make the application process straightforward. We will try to get back to you within a few days for an initial 20-minute chat with our Talent Team. If successful, you’ll proceed to further stages, depending on the role.

At InPost, we value uniqueness. Our strength is our people. We strive for an open, inclusive environment where everyone can flourish and be themselves.
