Job Description Summary

As the Business Development Specialist, you will drive sustainable growth in the non-acute care segments, focusing primarily on the Kit Packing sector. You will also support other B2B segments such as Pharmaceutical and Clinical Trials, MedTech, Compounding, and Animal Health.

The role involves deploying segment-specific strategies, account planning, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the kit packing segment. This is a national role based in the UK.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for the kit packing segment, including business development initiatives.
  • Prospect, develop, and lead UK-based customers to fully utilize the MDS portfolio.
  • Increase revenue from key accounts and expand the customer base.
  • Convert opportunities into sales using SFDC and BDWoS processes.
  • Lead pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Support long-term sales growth through multi-year contracts and partnerships.
  • Share market insights across the B2B team.
  • Ensure demand planning is accurate with customer forecasts.
  • Collaborate with regional sales managers on hospital and NHS tenders.
  • Conduct bi-annual business reviews with key accounts, establishing joint KPIs.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and coordinate resources to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records in the database, including SFDC updates.
  • Engage with other BD business units for cross-market opportunities.
  • Participate in sales planning, forecasting, and industry exhibitions.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in the medical field.
  • Proven experience in Medical Device sales, especially in B2B environments selling value-added products.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and work effectively in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
