Join a fast-growing global payments company revolutionizing the B2B travel payments space. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven B2B Travel Virtual Card Product Owner to lead our virtual card solutions, ensuring they meet market demands, drive revenue, and maintain a competitive edge.

Role overview:

As the Product Owner, you will take full ownership of the B2B Travel Virtual Card product, shaping its strategy, driving adoption, and ensuring seamless execution across key business functions. You will collaborate with Strategy, Commercialization, Sales, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Legal, and Treasury to build and scale best-in-class virtual card solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of B2B payments, virtual cards, and the travel industry to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

How you will create impact:

Product Strategy & Market Positioning:

  • Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Ensure the product is well-positioned against competitors and meets customer expectations.

Product Development & Innovation:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define specifications, prioritize features, and oversee development.
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support product investment decisions.

Go-to-Market & Commercialization:

  • Partner with Sales & Commercialization teams to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Develop and approve pricing models, ensuring market competitiveness and viability.
  • Create sales enablement tools and training materials for effective product positioning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead collaboration with Operations, Treasury, Legal, and Customer Support to optimize customer experience.
  • Build relationships with card schemes, BIN sponsors, processors, and other key ecosystem players.
  • Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

  • Track key performance metrics, customer feedback, and industry trends for continuous refinement.
  • Work with Finance & Analytics to monitor product P&L and ensure profitability.
  • Hold Sales teams accountable for targets and market insights.

Requirements:

Essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 8+ years in product management within B2B payments, virtual cards, or travel payments.
  • Deep understanding of virtual cards, B2B travel payments, and payment ecosystems.
  • Experience in financial modeling, market analysis, and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with PSD2, PCI DSS, e-money regulations, KYC/AML compliance.
  • Strong project management and execution skills in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and strategic initiatives.
  • LATAM experience and Spanish proficiency are desirable.
