Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Clapham, London (Office-based)
Employment Type: Full-time, 5 days per week, 9am-6pm

Job Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven B2B Sales Representative to grow our wholesale business by securing new retail partners, managing existing accounts, and increasing order volume. You will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with retailers and distributors while ensuring strong relationships and repeat business.

Original Duckhead is a fast-growing international brand specializing in sustainable, high-quality umbrellas that bring joy to rainy days. We currently work with hundreds of retailers worldwide and operate a successful B2C e-commerce store.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic B2B sales professional to help scale our wholesale partnerships and support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to new wholesale clients, including retailers, gift shops, corporate partners and distributors.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring repeat orders and strong relationships.
  • Prospect, pitch, and close wholesale deals, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to secure profitable agreements.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and networking events, generating leads and industry connections.
  • Provide excellent customer service to wholesale clients, assisting with inquiries and orders.
  • Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to support wholesale sales initiatives.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track leads, sales performance, and client interactions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale, or account management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for sales and networking.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Comfortable with traveling internationally for trade shows and client meetings.

Preferred:

  • Experience in wholesale, retail partnerships, or corporate sales.
  • Familiarity with the gifting, accessory, or hospitality industry.
  • Existing relationships with retailers or distributors are a plus.
