Job Description:

Our client is an award-winning leader in infection prevention, clinical waste management, and surgical solutions to healthcare facilities across the globe. Due to their significant growth, they are looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen the position of the business in the Irish Market and UK Long Term Care Accounts by supporting distributors through strategic initiatives and cross-selling activities, as well as providing day-to-day key account support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national business plan for Ireland, focusing on specific markets and product ranges by distributor to drive retention and growth, aligned with B2B and VCI strategic focuses.
  • Segment accounts to provide an elevated level of key account management to strategic accounts, involving senior leadership and stakeholders as needed.
  • Achieve sales and margin objectives.
  • Collaborate with B2B colleagues and marketing to identify and develop potential accounts and communicate crossover opportunities.
  • Meet individual KPIs.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key customers, professionals, and internal/external stakeholders, aiming to grow the business with both new and existing customers.
  • Utilize specialist product knowledge and skills to ensure effective selling and communicate key messages, providing solution-focused sales.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Uphold the company's core values at all times.
  • Work closely with Customer Services and UK Commercial teams as key support departments.

Candidate criteria:

  • Management and experience in the Irish healthcare market are desirable.
  • B2B sales, key account management experience, or medical training within the healthcare industry.
