Job Description:
Our client is an award-winning leader in infection prevention, clinical waste management, and surgical solutions to healthcare facilities across the globe. Due to their significant growth, they are looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen the position of the business in the Irish Market and UK Long Term Care Accounts by supporting distributors through strategic initiatives and cross-selling activities and day-to-day key account support.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and implementing a national business plan for Ireland with clearly defined focus markets and product ranges by distributor to drive retention and growth, aligning with B2B and VCI strategic focuses.
- Segmentation of accounts to provide an elevated level of key account management to strategic accounts, involving senior leadership and other stakeholders where required.
- Achieving sales & margin objectives.
- Working closely with B2B colleagues and marketing to identify and develop accounts beyond potential and communicating where crossover exists.
- Achieving individual KPIs.
- Establishing and managing relationships with key customers, professionals, internal and external stakeholders, and specifically growing the business with new & existing customers.
- Applying own specialist product knowledge, skills, and attitude to a consolidated level of selling, ensuring key selling messages are communicated at every opportunity and providing a solution-focused sell.
- Complying with all required policies, procedures & standards.
- Demonstrating the Company’s core values at all times.
- Close collaboration with Customer Services and UK Commercial as key support departments.
To be considered for this role, you must closely match the following criteria:
- Management and experience of the Irish Healthcare Market is desirable.
- B2B Sales, Key Account Management experience, or medical training within the healthcare industry.
